How long does my cover last?
Your car insurance policy is always valid for one year, allowing you the freedom every 12 months to make any changes you deem necessary to your policy. Rest assured, if we don't receive any notification from you, the policy will automatically renew once this period ends.
As is common with almost all types of insurance, whether for a car or any other asset, the duration or validity of your vehicle’s insurance is one year.
This setup allows you, upon renewal, to choose the insurance coverage that best suits your protection needs. You can add or remove optional coverages from your basic package and freely decide if you want to continue trusting us with your coverage.
In any case, you can be assured that if you don't notify us in advance of any changes, we will proceed with the automatic renewal of your car insurance, ensuring that you are never left without coverage.
Can I drive with expired insurance?
As mentioned, your insurance typically renews automatically, meaning you won’t find yourself without coverage at any point.
However, it may happen that the policy renews, but the payment hasn’t been processed. In this case, you are allowed to drive with expired insurance during what is known as a one-month grace period.
It's important to note that this month without insurance is not a “free” month. Once you renew your policy, you will need to pay the invoice according to your agreed payment plan (either annually or in installments).
