If you work as an entrepreneur in another country it can be challenging to have a sustainable network of professional contacts. When you have a busy life and you are working from home, it is at times hard to connect with like-minded people. In Spain there are so many fun ways to meet people in a networking environment.
Throughout the years I have been to many networking events: afterwork events, business women meet-ups and monthly international network meetings. I find it to be a lot of fun meeting new people from all over the world with different interests and perspectives on life. Sometimes are the meetings very valuable in a business sense and sometimes they are just for fun.
For entrepreneurs in Valencia I can suggest the following meetups, associations, spaces and groups:
Coworking spaces are very popular in Valencia. Just to give you an idea of some great places to meet, connect and work together with others: Core Coworking, Vortex Coworking, La Centrifugadora, Cocreate Valencia, Llum Coworking Valencia, Mosaico Valencia, and Wayco Valencia.
Costa Women is a social club for women in Spain. The women organise great meet-ups all over Spain by and for women. Costa Women will organise the next meeting in Valencia: “Lunch & Learn II” on June 28th from 15.00-18.00 hrs at Vortex Coworking.
De Nederlandse Zakenkring Valencia is a business club combined with a social club for Dutch and Belgium people in Valencia. They organise keynotes, dinners and workshops by members and guest-speakers. The next event for members (and everyone that is interested in the event) is their summer dinner on June 27th at 19.30 hrs starting for a drink at La Mas Bonita Chiringuito. The actual dinner will be at La Torreta at the Patacona Beach.
VrouwenZaken is a new group of Dutch and Belgium women that organise just one event a year. The whole day is all about women in business, connections between the participants, learning and helping each other. The next meeting is September 6th in Oliva, Spain.
Many international entrepreneurs are looking for networking events in Spain. It is very easy to find the best groups or entrepreneur meetup groups in your region. Try some of them and you’ll find out what is the best group for you. Meet some new people to expand your network!
